Proven Guilty - Book Review
Title: Proven Guilty (Book 8/11 in the Dresden Files series)
Author: Jim Butcher
Number of Pages: 406
Genre: Mystery/Sci-Fi/Fantasy
Book Number/Goal: 40/50 in 2009
Review: Another enjoyable read! There were a lot of interesting plot developments that will have serious implications for quite some time. It really seems that the series is taking on an entirely new direction.
**SPOILERS BELOW**
About 130 pages in, I realized that I was missing some key information. As it turns out, I had forgotten about a short story that was published in My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding. Once I went back and read those 100-odd pages, I was all caught up again.
Charity is just awesome. I LOVE the information we find out about her.
I was disappointed with how things ended for Murphy. I'm wondering what's in store for her character. I'm kind of hopeful that it will open things up between her and Dresden, but I probably shouldn't hold my breath.
