PREDATOR
Title: PREDATOR (Book 14 in the Kay Scarpetta series)
Author: Patricia Cornwell
Number of Pages: 406
Genre: Mystery Thriller
Book Number/Goal: 27/50 in 2009
Review: I really struggled through the first part of this book. I did not find it nearly as compelling as the previous books, and I found the short chapter style distracting rather than engaging (as I do in books like The Da Vinci Code). It did pick up steam towards the end of the book where PC addressed the story more than the characters dysfunctions. As much as I love character driven plot, they way it was handled in PREDATOR left much to be desired in my opinion.
