Goal: 50 books read between December 2010 - December 2011
Definition of "book": 100 pages or more according to ISBN (e-books are ok), graphic novels and re-reads do not count, unfinished books started before the challenge count because finishing is more important than starting.
A little about my goal and my reading habits: I never thought it would come to this, but it appears that I hardly ever read books anymore :( Movies and TV shows have occupied the niche reserved for storytelling-based art. This is doubleplusungood, because reading is essential for writing. And a little extra motivation never hurts!
